The SmallRig 2244 is an aluminum lens support bracket that screws onto the front of a compatible SmallRig cage (e.g. 2243/2824/2262/2972/2926) or L-bracket (2258), supporting a lens attached via the Nikon FTZ mount adapter and relieving stress on the camera's lens mount with heavier lenses. The bottom has a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting a tripod plate.
