1. Data controller

Studio Auran Kuva Oy
Business ID: 0140646-7
Itäharjunkatu 44, 20540 Turku
Phone: 0400 520 370
Email: bo.stranden@studioaurankuva.fi

For privacy-related questions, you can contact the data controller using the details above.

2. What data is collected

The site collects personal data only when a user sends a message via the contact or offer form. The forms ask for:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Message content
  • Offer price and product info, if using the offer form

The site also uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous traffic data (page views, referrer, device type). Vercel Analytics stores no cookies or identifying tokens and does not require consent.

The site stores the chosen language (FI or EN) in the browser’s localStorage so the selection persists between visits. The data remains only in the user’s own browser.

3. Purpose of processing

Personal data collected via the forms is used solely to handle the inquiry: replying to questions, processing offers, and completing any resulting sale and delivery. The data is not used for marketing or profiling.

The legal basis for processing is the data subject’s request and pre-contractual measures (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and the controller’s legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Retention

Contact and offer messages are retained as long as the matter is being handled. Data tied to a completed sale is retained for as long as bookkeeping law and other legislation require (typically six years from the end of the financial year).

5. Disclosures to third parties

Personal data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. Data is disclosed only in the following situations:

  • To the accountant to the extent processing of orders requires it (statutory obligation).
  • To the shipping company (e.g. PostNord) for delivery, if a sale is completed.
  • To authorities when required by law.

Data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

6. Data security

Site traffic is protected with HTTPS. Form messages are delivered to the data controller’s email, accessible only to the controller.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the data stored about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request deletion (to the extent legislation does not require retention) and to restrict or object to processing. You can exercise your rights by contacting the data controller.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

8. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated. Material changes will be announced on the site. The current version and its update date are shown at the top of this page.
